Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Alisaaistrup — 17 Jul 2016
This movie was based off an amazing book by John Green but left out many key elements that made the book special. Not only did leaving out essential elements that made the book heartwarming, but it made this movie look as if it were just another "Hey, I hate my life, come find me" type of movie, where the boy falls in love with the girl and that's it.
If you have not read the book yet, I suggest that you do. It's a heartfelt book that makes this movie look like dirt. I guarantee you that this movie may seem great when you watch it without reading the book, but looking back at it afterward, you will realize how much the directors left out, and how little the story connects with anything.
