Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Brofist — 02 Dec 2015
So I thought this movie would be alright going into it, since John Green's previous stuff, despite not really being "my thing" was somewhat well done, but this wasn't the case for Paper Towns.
The film didn't do anything to make you care for the characters so throughout the movie the characters all seemed one dimensional and unlikeable, and then there's the lackluster ending. This is where the movie really disappointed me and caused me to drop a few points off it's original score, there's a big buildup throughout the movie to the ending and then it happens and you're left thinking "Why did I just waste my time watching this?" because, without ruining anything, nothing really happened in the end.
The ending felt rushed and was extremely disappointing. If you're a fan of **** movies, you might like this.
