Review of Paper Moon (2013) by Spencer V — 08 Dec 2008
What a great movie. Ryan and Tatum O'Neal give the best performances of their careers and their real-life Father/Daughter relationship sends the chemistry of this film into the stratosphere. Really, some of the best on-screen chemistry and interaction you will ever see in a film.
The Diner scene towards the beginning is absoultely priceless. Time-Capsule worthy. Tatum O'Neal delivered the best acting performance a child has ever given, only rivaled by Macaulay Culkin in The Good Son and Natalie Portman's Matilda in The Professional.
The cinematography is wonderful, the dialogue is amazing and the quality of the story goes without saying. Deserves every last drop of praise it receives.
