Does not follow the book very well, but still a great film. Madeline Kahn at her best...such a versatile actress (even though it was a small part). Filtered black and white in the best fashion. Favorite quote: Addie "Frank D.
Roosevelt says we're all feeling a lot better now." Mose "...I sure bet old Frank wishes he was 21." and Mose "...I got scruples, you know what scruples are don't you?" Addie "No, I don't know what they are but if you got 'em I sure bet they belong to somebody else.
