Review of Paper Clips (2004) by Linda B — 03 Oct 2008
This moving documentary unfolds at the same leisurely pace I imagine pervades the rural Tennessee town where the story takes place. Stay with it! The viewer is privileged to accompany the very ordinary folks as an idea develops and grows beyond what they could have imagined.
Students, teachers and townspeople grow in understanding, whle drawing in individuals around the world. Holocaust vicitms are honored, survivors and their descendants are comforted, and all are given a lesson in humanity.
