A film that is as beautiful as it is haunting. I have never seen a more perfect film . Even after watching it countless times, there are still more layers and details I find that add to my enjoyment of this masterpiece.
This film conveys the darkness and horror of war in a brutally realistic light, and simultaneously the wonders of a child's innocence and imagination.
