A great movie which will leave you with a lot to think about afterwards. It seems to me that it's about a lonely girl struggling with the brutal world around her, retreating into her own fantasy world in search of hope and salvation. The question of whether her adventure is real or not is left open, which is why it makes it so compelling.

If you want a straightforward Fantasy film then look elsewhere, this is a serious piece that deals with very serious issues.
