Review of Pan's Labyrinth (2006) by Le Cochon B — 01 Nov 2013
Multifarious levels of communication, here. Engrossing. Very sympathetic. In some ways similarly diverse and ambitious within the one work, the one, single storyline, as a Mahler symphony. There is no one conclusion. A world in itself, about the most serious issues. This is more complex than you may think on first or early viewings.
This is a landmark film of the early decades of this century.
