Review of Pan's Labyrinth (2006) by Luca Maria M — 27 Dec 2015
One of the best movies i've ever seen. It's not perfect (i was not 100% convinced by the story, like in other Guillermo Del Toro's movies) but I didn't care, I just wanted to listen to this tale and dream with it.
That's the special touch of Guillermo Del Toro. Well, more like having a nightmare than dreaming, perhaps. since it's a dark fairy tale, just a little step from being a real horror movie (think to the Pale Man scene), but it's perfect this way: the main character is a little child, after all and this story makes the audience deeply concerned about her and her story and the ending is.
..well, just watch it and let Guillermo tell you this tale.
