Review of Pan's Labyrinth (2006) by J K — 27 Jan 2014
What a sinister yet beautiful movie. Ofelia is a wonderfully drawn character played to perfection. The fantastical elements are again, beautiful yet mildly menacing - a stylistic portrayal of mythical creatures who may be friend of foe, expertly depicting the omnipotent threat in young Ofelia's real life context.
Her step father is a complete [____] and congrats to Sergi for making him so easy to hate. Watch this movie.
