Review of Panic Room (2002) by Rory D — 21 Apr 2010
Fincher knows how to craft great thrillers. We have characters, not pawns moved around on a chess board. The lighting and camera work allows the pacing to weave the simple story into so much more. Foster, Whitaker, and Stewart are spot on.
Panic Room never cuts corners, it melds all of its elements together to create a dim, yet redeeming tale.
