Don't know where to start on this one as have no idea what this film was all about. Having expected some form of 'alien' spin-off I now feel aggrieved that I have come away feeling like I've watched a double bill of star trek: deep space nine! Whether I was feeling tired, drunk, or i'm just plain stupid, I just couldn't understand all the scientific dialogue and plot, nor did I want to try to.

I became vaguely interested during a few battle scenes, and it's a shame there weren't more of this sort, as they at least gave the film a little bit of credit. It's one of those movies whereby they pack more entertainment into a 2 minute trailer than they do the rest of the film - just enough to trick us into buying it! Possibly a hit movie for all those sci-fi fans out there, but I'll just have to sit and read the Wikipedia synopsis to try and comprehend this one! 30 years on and we still can't find a decent space movie to rival 'Alien'.
