Fantastical, awesome, beautiful and OTT CGI - with a slip of a story to go with it. Very entertaining, although overlong by a third. My 3 star rating overlooks the sexism, middleageism, sizeism,sister-ism (Kathy Burke is a nasty nun - why can't she be a princess!) and the unoriginality of the World War 11 setting.
To be puristy pernickety, as Peter Pan was Victorian-Edwardian, a prequel in the 1940s is chronologically challenged. Great fun with a young person in tow.
