Pan is a well-made film, but that does not mean it's good, because although the direction is not bad, the film never feels like a complete and complex entity, there are failures and they are several so it's unlikely to ignore them.
Perhaps the most significant thing is that the film feels like a collage of intentions rather than a molded and delivered film.
I do not recommend it.
