Review of Pan (2015) by Danburrito — 18 Nov 2015
A couple of problems but it's much better than the critics say. The biggest problem is that it gets a bit CGI-heavy towards the end. But still, it was certainly enjoyable. The cast were great. I especially liked Garret Hedlund's performance as Hook-he had a kind of Han Solo feel to him.
Another thing I liked was that they finally offer an explanation for why Hook and his crew are adults if Peter and the lost boys never grow up (that was something that had always confused me about the Peter Pan story.
Overall, an enjoyable film for fantasy fans, and a very underrated movie.
