This one looks like it should have been good, strong director in Joe Wright("pride & prejudice" and "Atonement") and decent cast with Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara, but the film just doesn't deliver.

I can't tell if it's the weak story or poor script, likely both, but I was never engaged in this one. The visual effects were fairly strong, and the cast was decent, but I just never connected with the material.

Oddest moment was when Jackman leads his followers in a cover of Nirvana's "Teen Spirit", cool idea but pulled me right out of the film. Skip it!
