Review of Pale Rider (1985) by Casey M — 24 Feb 2008
In between the legendary Unforgiven and The Outlaw Josey Wales, Eastwood put out this decent Western in the mid-80s. There's nothing really new here, and he borrows heavily from early films such as Shane, and even his own High Plains Drifter.
Still, it's an entertaining effort, and the final shoot out marks this as a fine addition to the genre.
