Review of Pale Rider (1985) by Aaron R — 25 Dec 2008
Old-fashioned Clint Eastwood western tells a simple story with great authentic Old West atmosphere. Eastwood brings his usual unmistakable presence, and he's backed by a strong supporting cast. The plot may be conventional and melodramatic at times, but in the hands of a craftsman like Eastwood, this is one of the better ones.
Nice old-fashioned score by Lennie Niehaus.
