Review of Pale Rider (1985) by Caleb S — 20 Jan 2009
This movie shows us the perfect example of a dark, western style anti-hero with all the gunplay and mystery expected from a Clint Eastwood film. The preacher is one of the most intriguing characters found in any western or indeed any movie to date, despite the fact that he has no real established past or motive.
One of the greatest gunfights i've seen in a western (close behind 3:10 to Yuma) as well as a convincing performance from the cast make this a classic western film which leaves you thinking after it ends.
