Review of Pain & Gain (2013) by Amanda C — 24 May 2014

For the first half hour or so, I was afraid that I was going to have to admit that I actually enjoyed a Michael Bay film. Fortunately after a fast paced and surprisingly funny opening act, the film takes a turn for the worst, with minimal plot, no point and getting just a little too twisted for its own good.

The run time is only 2 hours, but it feels much longer as things just keep on getting worse and worse, both for the characters and the audience as they suffer right along with them.
