Review of Paid in Full (2002) by Alexis A — 10 Aug 2008
Yet another old skool gangsta flick bogged down in repetitious dialogue and ghetto cliche. How many times do we have to hear these oafs regale us with what it was like 'back in the day', glorifying and loathing themselves and 'the game' they play on the streets? Its 'true story' claim doesn't disguise the fact that this is pure hack work in action.
1 star for a few of the tracks.
