Review of Page One: Inside the New York Times (2011) by Kelda W — 26 Nov 2011
This is a fascinating documentary on newspaper reporting and the place of print media in today's changing technological world. It's a study of how the New York Times newspaper is trying to adapt to survive and continue it's tradition of excellence in reporting .
The brilliant reporter David Carr really adds character to this movie .It deals with the past ,the present and the future of newspaper reporting . We get a real close up look at the day to day running of the media desk and also we see the financial cutbacks that the New York Times has to endure just like any other business in a recession .
By the end of this documentary you will come away understanding the importance of high quality print media and how it's still very important in the world today .
