Review of Page One: Inside the New York Times (2011) by Chris M — 30 Jan 2012
There is something really scary when you are listening to a documentary basically talking about how your choice profession is slowly dying. If there is a character in this movie, it has to be David Carr.
The man really has a great personality about him. When you hear his story back in the day and then see where he is today, it makes you wonder could a crack addict today receive a job at a newspaper? However it seriously shows that history repeats itself.
It started with the the Pentagon Papers for him and the same thing is basically happen with the things coming out of Wikileaks. For the profession I am in, it is very informative.
