Oh man!! just came back from the movie half an hour ago, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. it was big, it was loud, it was fun. the effects were amazing, and the new jaeger designs were definitely eye-catching - especially scrapper and sabre athena.

the new kaiju were a marvel on screen. I really loved the sibling relationship between jake and amara. all in all, I really recommend uprising to anyone who was a fan of the first movie.
