As a huge fan of the original movie, Uprising delivers on all levels. Do not let overcritical analysis dissuade you from seeing it. My son could not envision how they make the 10-year leap and they do it fluidly.
The acting between veterans Boyega and Eastwood and the rookies is smooth. The returners add to the movie without living on the original.
