Review of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) by Xavier S — 22 Apr 2018

This film felt less like an anime (what Del Toro was going for with the first film) and more like a bad Power rangers rip off. I honestly disliked this film for many reasons, the main one being how rushed and flawed the script and film were.

So many poor choices were made with the direction of the franchise. As a huge fan of the first this film was a massive disappointment. I do hope for a third film with a new director (or preferably Del Toro returning) Charlie hunnam back in the lead role alone with Boyega as a co-star.

Loose all the nonsensical bs that was in this film and let's focus on saving the world and giant robots beating up kaiju just Like the first film.
