Where pacific rim had intense kiju battles, decent acting, and a well put together Del toro product, uprising is a mess. A dumb plot, fairly wooden to rotten acting and a crazy Charlie day just adds up to a film that doesn't live up to the first.
Disappointed but not surprised.
