Review of Pacific Rim (2013) by Antony G — 20 Jul 2014

For starters this movie is terribly acted. It's devoid of any known actors & it shows in the acting skills on show. Secondly it's the not the best scripted movie out there but thankfully it's easy to follow despite some flaws in the script.

But, apart from that it's a thoroughly entertaining film with your senses being stimulated with the awesome on screen CGI with plenty of explosions & action going on. This is definitely going to be a cult classic along side another B movie classic, Starship Troopers! It's a simple plot with giant monster aliens attacking Earth from another dimension from under the ocean.

Their plan is to rid the world of mankind & then deplete the planets resources. Man fights back with giant robots which are powered by two pilots. So just sit back & watch the onscreen candy fold out before your eyes.
