Pacific Rim could have easily failed but it didn't. Instead it is the exact definition of an awesome summer popcorn movie. With fantastic characters, an interesting plot, and breathtaking special effects with amazing camera work, Pacific Rim is easily one of the best movies of 2013.
It is also worth watching in 3d or IMAX 3d.
