Some movies like this are just ignorant (all the transformers), some are good but not fully satisfying (godzilla). Pacific Rim is incredible, because results able to reach some moments of absolute ignorance (when the Jaeger holds a container's ship like a baseball bat to hit the Kaiju is my favorite), mixed with higher ones.
Well, I was hyped before watching it, and much more after! Great job by Guillermo del Toro!
