Review of P2 (2007) by Esteban G — 28 Dec 2011
Franck Khalfouns film has several gory moments, but few scares. I dont know why these kind of movies rely so little on scaring the audience and putting all their efforts on trying to groos them out. This movie is not the goriest out there but there are a couple of bloody scenes like the one with the car running over the dude against the wall, the dog scene, and the eye scene.
However the film fully relies on this and not on scarying its audience. Wes Bentley plays the creep who has the blond Rachel Nichols locked up in the parking garage of her workplace on Christmas Eve. I did not find Wes Bentley scary although I have to admit his character did have a lot of issues but he had a hard time keeping up with the stupid blonde.
The acting was not too bad as it usually is in these genre films. Overall a bad movie with some gore but no scares which makes it pointless for me.
