"Oz the Great and Powerful" is a beautifully executed callback to the original 1939 film. The most important thing to remember is that this is a prequel to "The Wizard of Oz." There is just enough Oz and enough differences to make this a successful film.
Fantastic visuals, clever sleight of hand, and a talented cast makes this a joyful experience for people of all ages.
