An amazing film that clearly establishes that it is not like the legendary original. This new one is mystifying, and has a great sense of humor. It references the original while at the same time establishing itself on its own terms.
though there are some places where it dulls it is still quite entertaining which is all that really matters in movies. Great acting and great effects. Another fine entry by director Raimi.
