Review of Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) by Sawyer M — 05 Mar 2014
With an interesting idea, a good story, a fine script full of okay dialogue, a great cast headed by James Franco as Oscar Diggs, Mila Kunis as Theodora, Michelle Williams as Glinda, Rachel Weisz as Evanora, Zach Braff as Finley and Joey King as China Girl, fantastic directing by Sam Raimi, beautiful visuals and visual effects, exciting scenes and sequences and a perfect pace and flow, Oz the Great and Powerful is a movie that hearkens back to the classic 1939 film but also shows the origins of how it all began.
