Too long by half, the movie hits you over the head repeatedly with what's about to happen over the 86-minutes, so that when the obnoxious douchebag the movie has shown you gets what's coming to him, it's not even satisfying.
I would have liked this better if it was half as long. Interestingly, Duffy has written and directed Boondock Saints 2, which is currently in post.
