Review of Overlord (2018) by Don R — 18 Nov 2018

This being a flick produced by J.J. Abrams, one can't help think of franchises like Lost and Cloverfield--for a while, it was even assumed that this movie was the fourth installment of that saga--, and immediately feel that the story missed an extra final step of madness and wacky revelations.

But in all honesty, that's extremely unfair. This is a script of a nice B-Movie treated seriously as a war blockbuster with a nice budget and good actors. It's also a blast.

That needs to be celebrated, always.
