Review of Overboard (2018) by Adrian D — 17 May 2018

Filthy rich playboy, Leonardo, is partying too hard one night and accidentally falls off his yacht. He washes ashore and wakes up with amnesia. Kate, a single-mother of three, who was fired earlier after cleaning Leo's yacht, sees Leo's amnesia as an opportunity to get her revenge on him by making him believe they're married.

I was pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed this film. I went in with low expectations based on some early criticism but I went in anyway with open eyes to see for myself. It's not a movie that is brimming with jokes and laughter but it's certainly not lacking of those either. Specifically, this movie relies more on slapstick comedy so you'll either love it or hate it. Very entertaining nonetheless, Overboard managed to make me laugh while also telling a good story.....even if it was a bit predictable.
