Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell star in the romantic comedy Overboard. The story follows a rich socialite who gets amnesia after falling off of her yacht, and is taken in by a local carpenter who convinces her that she's his wife in order to get her to take care of his kids.
The story is rather predictable and formulaic, but the characters are fun and make it work. So even though Overboard is a standard family comedy, there's some heart to it that makes it enjoyable and fun to watch.
