Review of Outpost (2008) by Christopher B — 15 Mar 2008
One of the better horror films that adds the war element. Whereas a lot seem to have the plot element of "Is it supernatural or madness?" which I'm sure is symbolic in certain ways, like in war you are just killing yourself or simply war is hell, this is truly supernatural and a nice change.
It's an easy watch with some decent kills but few likable characters and a very familiar story to anyone who has seen Event Horizon, The Bunker, Death Watch, R-Point, etc. And now I know who the new Punisher is, and Stevenson might not be bad at all in the role.
