Review of Outlander (2008) by Aaron B — 01 Dec 2009

This is a movie about an alien humanoid coming to Earth during the "Iron" age in Norway. Attached to hs ship is a big ugly monster that he teams with a local village to stop.

There is no need for the main character to be from outer space. After we see him land it isn't even referenced for most of the film. The film itself reminds me of the Antonio Banderras film, The 13th Warrior.

It is a good movie, I just think they started off with a certain premise and then did not know where to go with it. Also it has to be pointed out, that this story has been done better in other places, such as the Ghost And The Darkness.
