Review of Outland (1981) by D G — 01 Dec 2009

Awkward and plodding lame 80's sci fi with very little in the way of imagination. There's basically no reason it's even set in space. Every single story beat and character would work practically the same if it had been set at a mining camp on earth.

Sean Connery just kills a guy or two, punches the man responsible for a whole fuckload of deaths and then leaves on the next shuttle out. Doesn't arrest the guy or even stop the drug from being distributed.

Shittiest cop I ever saw.
