Review of Outland (1981) by Duncan L — 19 Aug 2010
Outland is a rather different science fiction film, one that involves a conspiracy of drug-smuggling and nothing fanciful that involves anything hi-tech laser-beams nor aliens. Still, Outland is a rather well pace movie that is surprisingly directed by Peter Hyams (also written by him).
Sean Connery for the first time, takes the lead in this science fiction movie that take charge rather well. Although the movie is nothing exceptional, it holds its own as entertaining as it comes. Good watch.
