Review of Outland (1981) by Aren B — 12 Jul 2008
Better than I was expecting. "Outland" is "High Noon" set in space and with Sean Connery touting a shotgun instead of a six-shooter. Regardless of the remake qualities, the film reaches some moments of genuine suspense and the production values are quite good.
Don't expect "High Noon" when you watch it and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
