Review of Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism (2004) by Keaton P — 06 Dec 2009
If only this was a documentary on American media as a whole, then we would truly be able to claim enlightenment on the subject. Outfoxed as it is, is a fine documentary telling of the unjust behavior of one of the largest "news" organizations in the world, but what it fails to recognize is the relationship of all media, and when I say relationship of all, I actually mean a large portion of it it rubbish by way of corporate capital.
Freedom of the press has gave way to sway of the wallet. Whether this is more prevalent today that what it once was remains to be judged. For anyone to lay claim that their news network is not as full of hyperbole and deceit as any of the other major gunslingers in the game, is choosing to turn a shut eye to the fire on their lazy boy.
