Review of Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism (2004) by Scott M — 19 Dec 2010
This documentary is really eye-opening. It shows how a giant corporation can have so much control over the media and act as right-wing cheerleaders. Rupert Murdoch is the owner of the Fox Network, which used to air fair and balanced news up until the Reagan Administration ascended to the office of the Presidency. This documentary manages to turn Fox's bias, the network's chief weapon against the Democrats, onto itself to try to do what no one has tried to do, to take down a corporate Goliath with the small stone of truth. This documentary is a must see for anyone who wishes to find out just what is and is not being reported by the news they watch, odds are, they will be surprised that they are not watching the news, but instead one long political campaign ad.
"Real revolution begins with outrage, if you aren't outraged, then you aren't paying attention..." -Tim McIlrath, Lead Singer for Rise Against.
