The movie is characterized as a UK fantasy/horror film on par with the likes of The Descent in scare factor. I think The Descent is better than this movie. I wanted to like this movie. I really did. well, actually, I did like it a lot until close to the very end.
the end was just plain silly. it was really hard to take seriously and it ruined the painstakingly slow, but thorough build up of suspense. the movie just ran out of steam...
