Review of Outbreak (1995) by Archibald T — 24 Mar 2011
When a virus occurs in Africa, a team of scientist try to contain it. Sadly, it doesn't work when one of the hosts of the virus is a monkey which gets captured and sent to the US. Some dumbass takes the monkey to sell it at a pet store where he and others get infected.
When the team returns they have a race against time to stop the virus. When it gets airborne is when it gets scary as hell.
Those points worked and it was intense when they tried to capture the monkey by using a little girl to lure it out from the woods to tranquilize it. That was fun. When the government subplot sinks in is when you can check out, but overall it's a scary film in the first and second act.
