Review of Out of Time (2003) by Jens S — 03 Oct 2007
This thriller takes a while to set the mood and decide on a direction it is going in its sultry Florida atmosphere. Then it's actually a lot of fun and exciting to watch Denzel Washington getting framed and trying to weasel and solve his way out of the mess he got himself into.
A funny sidekick and the gorgeous Eva Mendes add up to the watching pleasure, too. Sadly, the showdown and solution is a lot more conventional than the hour before and costs the movie half a star. Still, good enough for an entertaining evening with crime.
