Review of Out of Time (2003) by Guido S — 23 Dec 2013
Denzel is in another crime thriller. This time he is a sketchy detective who stole the money from a drug bust then had it at his mistresses house when the house goes up in flames killing them both. So he has to cover his tracks and figure out what happened.
Problem is, this was entirely predictable. I could see the 'twist' if you could call it that coming pretty much immediately after the crime. Denzel is great is so many movies where he is a man with questionable morals, this is not one of them.
Supposedly him and Eva Mendes were married in this movie, but they had absolutely no chemistry. So that's why they broke up, eh? Just not believable or interesting and it was really predictable.
