Review of Out of the Past (1947) by Jacob A — 27 Sep 2012
For a movie this old, I can admit this had some pretty clean acting and set up, that could be because of Robert Mitchum being in the starring role. Being a classic Noire, this movie dives you into a secret world the main character left and wants to never return to, but only comes back to haunt him.
As it begins to haunt him, everything begins to unravel in a slow, but patient pace, giving you an excellent pay off. This is a must watch for any film junkie!
